How Veltron Heaters Work

Veltron heaters use diesel, red diesel or biodiesel to make heat and only a tiny bit of electricity (about the same as a light bulb) to run the controls and fan. Instead of just blowing hot air around, they use infrared heat to warm people, animals and objects first. That means you feel warm faster and waste less heat up in the roof space.
There’s no big burner roar, no clouds of smoke and, in many buildings, no need for a flue, just a safe position, normal airflow and a standard 230 V socket.

Installation & Safety

Most Veltron heaters are plug-and-play: you wheel them into place, fill the tank with fuel, plug into a 230 V socket and follow the start-up steps in the manual. You don’t usually need fixed pipework or a chimney, which keeps installation simple and cost-effective.
For safety, you should always:
Place the heater on a flat, stable surface
Keep clear space around the heater as shown in the manual
Make sure there is enough fresh air in the building
Use the correct fuel and keep the tank closed and clean
If you are unsure where to position your heater or what your building needs, you can ask for advice before you buy.
